Xi'an Siyuan University: China's Pioneering and Leading Institution of Higher Learning to Advocate Innovative Education and Practice
  Xi'an Siyuan University was founded as a general university with the official approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, is a model workstation co-established with other institutions with the approval of Shaanxi Province's Department of Education and other units for joint training of graduate students, and is the first private Shaanxi university to be qualified to enroll students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese communities.

  Looking down the sliding Bahe and Chanhe River to the west and overlooking the lofty Qinling Mountains to the south and the site of the Xi'an World Horticultural Expo to the north, the campus of Xi'an Siyuan University is situated in an impressive natural environment and enjoys pleasant scenery on the tender west slopes of the Bai Lu Yuan.

  Since it was founded in 1998, the university has been working towards the goal of developing into a highly competitive university by following its guidelines of innovative education, by giving priority to offering educational programs with optimal specialties, and by developing complete systems of management. Thanks to the firm measures that have been taken to supervise the faculty in their teaching processes and to regulate the students in their learning processes, the past two decades has witnessed the continuous improvement of the quality of the university's regular undergraduate education, higher vocational education has come to gain in diversifying features, and successive arrangements have been made for training graduate students.

  With managerial policies effectively working to guarantee its efficient operation, the university has now evolved into a new type of higher education institution, which consists of 7 undergraduate schools, 3 colleges of vocational education, 1 school of continuing education, and 2 workstations for joint training of graduate students. With the university's advancement in undertakings of undergraduate education, higher vocational education, continuing education and postgraduate education, a total of over 17,000 regular students are now gaining good education by enjoying the offering of programs and specialties that cover a wide range of disciplines in engineering, humanities, economics, management, education, law, arts, and medicine.
